August Workshop Focuses on Applying for a Grant
CSM will hold the sixth annual grant training seminar,
"Are You Ready to Apply for a Grant?" at the La Plata
Campus on August 26, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Merril Oliver,
Deputy Director of Maryland Governor's Grants office,
will lead an interactive seminar on grants preparedness.
Topics will include organizational capacity, leveraging
partnerships, resources, grant opportunities, and grant
solicitation.
The seminar is sponsored by Charles County Public
Library, Maryland Governor's Grants Office, Charles
County Public Schools, Tri-County Council for Southern
Maryland, CSM and Charles County Government. The seminar
is free, but space is limited, and participants should
pre-register no later than August 19 by contacting Becky
Cockerham at 301-934-7648 or by e-mailing Becky at
